  • Will the Quickcharge q1200 products charge my phone faster?

Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM 2.0 delivers up to 75% faster charging than conventional USB charging with devices that are Quick Charge compatible.

Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM 2.0 is compatible with devices with Snapdragon 800 processors. These devices are currently Quick Charge enabled. The QC 2.0 is only valid on 800 and above processors. QC 1.0 just means the phone charges at 5 Volts and more than 1 Amp. Snapdragon 400 and 600 processors are not capable of QC 2.0 (9 Volts).

This charger is backwards compatible between Quick Charge 1.0 and Quick Charge 2.0.

This charger rapid charges Micro USB devices and will charge Apple products at 1A.

  • Is there a difference in charging between USB Type-C™ charging and Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0?

Typically, USB Type-CTM mobile devices charge at 5V, 3A = 15W and Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM charges mobile devices at 9V, 1.67A = 15W. There is a slight edge in charging time with Qualcomm Quick Charge which could vary from device to device.

  • What is Quick Charge™ 3.0?

Quick ChargeTM 3.0 is the latest advancement in charging technology. By increasing the rate at which power can be transferred to your device, Quick Charge 3.0 drastically decreases the charging time of enabled devices—up to 4x faster than conventional charging and up to 2x faster than Quick Charge 1.0.

  • What is the biggest benefit of Quick Charge™ 3.0?

With the ability to identify the exact power needed to recharge a battery, Quick ChargeTM 3.0 provides a faster and more efficient charge. Quick Charge 3.0 is 38% more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0, capable of charging a phone from 0% to 80% in about 35 minutes vs. 2.0 which charges a phone from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes. In addition, Quick Charge 3.0 is connector independent and may be used on a large number of enabled devices including USB Type-C.

  • Does Quick Charge™ 3.0 work with all phones?

Quick ChargeTM 3.0 will only work if both the device AND the charger support 3.0 technology. It is also backwards compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and 1.0 devices. Currently, most devices using the following Qualcomm Snapdragon processor chipsets are able to charge via Quick Charge 3.0 technology: 820, 620, 618, 617, and 430.

  • Will Quick Charge™ 3.0 harm my phone?

Quick Charge chargers are required to be certified by UL, one of the largest safety and certification companies in the world. This is to ensure product safety.

  • Which devices are enabled with Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology?

Quick Charge technology provides accelerated charging for devices that have Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, including the
LG G5, HTC 10, ZTE Axon 7, ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe, HP Elite x3,and HTC One A9.

Visit Qualcomm’s website (https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/devices/all?feature=Quick%20Charge%203.0) for a complete list of devices featuring this new technology.

  • Will Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology power my Apple® device or other mobile device?

Quick ChargeTM 3.0 will charge Micro USB and Apple® mobile devices at their standard rate; however, it will not Quick Charge since the devices are not Quick Charge 3.0 compatible.
